How to place an order?
On the “Ordering” page, add the preferred product type to the shopping cart. If you want to combine different product types, please write in the order notes or contact us. From the shopping cart, you can proceed to payment.
When ordering memorial stones via Estonian pet clinic, we will contact you to clarify product types and e-mail the invoice.
If you send your departed pet to be cremated yourself, you can indicate the return address for the ashes: Mälestuskivid OÜ. Address, phone, email are on the “Contact” page.
How do I need to send the cremains?
Pack the cremains in a box, either in a plastic bag or in an urn. We will return the urn if it is an openable urn, if not, please contact us if you want to have returned a damaged urn.
On Estonia mainland, DPD courier will pick up the package on the agreed day with a parcel label (you do not need to make any marks on the package yourself). For Estonian islands and EU customers via DPD parcel lockers. We will create the transport order when provided the pick-up location and provide information for printing the parcel label at the parcel locker.
What kind and how many stones can you expect?
The appearance and quantity of stones varies individually and depends on the volume of ash. The minimum amount of cremains needed is a quarter of a cup. Up to 20 stones can be made from cat´s cremains and up to 40 from dog´s cremains, measuring 2-9 cm. The amount of stones depends on the volume of cremains.
The color of the stones is generally light, brownish-gray, but there may be greenish tones. There may be irregularities in the structure of the stones, they are not perfectly smooth. Special requests cannot be accepted regarding color and quantity, or for products that are not mentioned.
If you would like to mix different products (e.g. 1 larger stone, the rest small), please write your preferences to order notes or send us a message.
How are the stones made and how long does the process take?
The cremains are weighed and sieved to remove any foreign objects and larger pieces. Some natural binders are added, transforming the ash into a clay-like mass that is molded into the appropriate shape and heated in a kiln to create a permanent structure.
The stones take 2-3 weeks to complete, with additional time to deliver, but this can vary depending on the number of orders in progress. If you need them by a specific date, please contact us.
Does Mälestuskivid OÜ cremate the remains of pets?
No, we do not cremate pets.

Where can I bury a pet?
In densely populated areas, you can bury your pet in your own backyard or at a pet cemetery in Estonia. Some animal clinics and doctors can also help organize the burial and cremation of pets.
